North America Study exists for one reason: too many talented students give up on studying abroad because the process looks impossible from the outside. It is not. It is a series of clear steps, and we walk them with you.

We do not sell dreams, we build plans. Every student gets an honest evaluation, a school list that matches reality, applications prepared with care, and straightforward guidance through the visa or permit process. We never promise admissions, scholarships, or visas, because nobody honestly can; we promise the strongest possible file and a clear view of your real options.
Your advisor
Niyem M. Bawana, Ph.D.
Niyem's journey began as a high-school physics teacher in Togo. He earned his B.Sc. in Applied Physics at the Universite de Lome, with an academic exchange at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, then crossed the Atlantic as an international student himself.
In the United States he earned an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at the University of South Florida, an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at New Mexico Tech, and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, one of the world's leading engineering schools. In Fall 2026 he joins the University of Colorado Boulder as an Assistant Teaching Professor.
He funded this entire journey the way he now teaches students to: through a Fulbright scholarship, a fellowship, and teaching assistantships at three different American universities. He has sat in the visa interview chair, gathered the transcripts, written the statements, and navigated every form this process involves. That lived experience, from West Africa to an American professorship, is what North America Study is built on.
