About our service
Is the evaluation really free?
Yes. The initial profile evaluation is completely free and comes with no obligation. You only pay if you choose one of our guidance packages afterwards.
Can you guarantee my admission, scholarship, or visa?
No, and you should be careful with anyone who says they can. Admission decisions belong to schools, scholarship decisions to their committees, and visa decisions to government authorities. We help you present the strongest, most complete file possible.
Are you an immigration law firm?
No. We provide educational guidance and application preparation support. We do not give legal immigration advice. You file your own visa or permit application with the authorities, and when a case needs legal advice we recommend consulting a licensed professional.
Where are your students from?
Students can come from anywhere; most of our experience is with applicants from West and Central Africa heading to the USA or Canada.
How do we communicate?
Email and WhatsApp for day-to-day questions, and scheduled video consultations for in-depth sessions. Once your case is open you can follow its status online.
Studying in the USA
How much does studying in the USA cost?
Published tuition ranges roughly from $8,000 per year at community colleges to over $40,000 at private universities, plus living costs. Funding, assistantships, and smart school choices can change the real number dramatically, which is exactly what the evaluation looks at.
What is a graduate assistantship?
A position where a master's or Ph.D. student teaches or does research for the university in exchange for a tuition waiver and a monthly stipend. It is the most common way international graduate students fund US study, and one of the funding paths your advisor used himself, alongside a Fulbright scholarship and a STEER fellowship.
Do I need the SAT or GRE?
It depends on the program. Many universities are test-optional for the SAT/ACT, and many graduate departments have dropped the GRE, but competitive programs may still expect strong scores. We check each school on your list.
What is the F-1 visa process like?
After admission and proof of funding, your school issues a Form I-20. You then pay the SEVIS fee, complete the DS-160 form, and attend an interview at the US embassy. We help you prepare a complete file and practice for the interview; the decision itself always rests with the consular officer.
Can I work in the USA after graduating?
Eligible F-1 graduates can apply for OPT, which allows 12 months of work in their field, and STEM graduates can apply for a 24-month extension. Rules evolve, so always confirm current requirements with official sources.
Studying in Canada
How much does studying in Canada cost?
International tuition typically ranges from about CAD $15,000 to $40,000 per year depending on the program and institution, plus living costs. Colleges are generally less expensive than universities.
What is a study permit and how long does it take?
The study permit is the authorization to study in Canada, issued by the federal government after you have a letter of acceptance, proof of funds, and where applicable a provincial attestation letter (and a CAQ for Quebec). Processing times vary widely by country, so we plan your application as early as possible.
Do I need IELTS for Canada?
Most English-language programs accept IELTS Academic, and many also accept TOEFL or Duolingo. Francophone programs use TEF or TCF. Required scores vary by program.
What is the PGWP?
The Post-Graduation Work Permit allows eligible graduates of designated institutions to work in Canada for up to three years depending on program length and current rules. Eligibility criteria change, so always verify with official sources.
Can I study in French in Canada?
Yes. Quebec's universities and several institutions in other provinces offer full programs in French, and bilingual options exist. Quebec adds one step: the CAQ before the study permit.
